Ⅰ: Personal Information Protection Policies

Nomura Real Estate Hotels Co., Ltd. (below, the Company) will comply with laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information and other codes, establish a voluntary system and rules, and declare that they will be implemented and maintained in order to ensure the proper handling of personal information used by the Company in their operations.

Handling of Personal Information at Nomura Real Estate Hotels

Nomura Real Estate Hotels Co., Ltd. (below, the Company) The handling of personal information for customers on the Company Website is in accordance with the policy of "Handling of Personal Information on the Hotels Website." The Company will protect all personal information ("Personal Data") on EU/EEA from the Company Website or otherwise as guests when reserving our hotels rooms and pledges to process personal data in accordance with the following Data Protection Policies.

When personal data on customers is collected (through the use of the standard form on the Company Website, etc.), the Company displays whether or not it is essential to provide such data (on an asterisk, etc.) and also shows the impact of refusing to provide the requested personal data.

Ⅲ: Personal data access rights holders and sharing destinations

  1. Within the Nomura Real Estate Group
    The Company may transfer personal data to Nomura Real Estate Group (Nomura Real Estate Group refers to a corporate group consisting of Nomura Real Estate Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates, hereinafter referred to as the "Nomura Real Estate Group"). Nomura Real Estate Group may act as an individual independent manager or process personal data of customers on behalf of the Company and at the request of the Company (in this case, act as processors). In any case, personal data is processed only for the purposes described in II-2. Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data.
  2. Outside Nomura Real Estate Group
    The Company may also transfer personal data to third parties acting on behalf of the Company to the extent such third parties are necessary to perform instructions from the Company in order to achieve the objectives described in "II-2. Purposes of Processing Customer Personal Data." The Company do not transfer personal data to such third parties for commercial use.
    Such third parties include the Company's (IT) systems, cloud services, data center and database providers, website providers and consultants related to the Company’s business activities.
    As processors, such third parties must enter into agreements with our hotels to process their personal data prior to accessing their personal data.
    If necessary, the Company may also transfer your personal data to the following persons:
    • A third party to whom the Company contractually assigns or renews the rights or obligations of any of the Company related to the processing of the customer's personal data
    • National or international public or judicial authorities where the Company must transfer your personal data in order to comply with laws and regulations, as required by applicable laws and regulations or by national or international public or judicial authorities

  3. Relocation outside the European economic domain
    Personal data transferred within and outside the Nomura Real Estate Group in "III Personal Data Access Rightholders and Shareholders" is processed outside the European Economic Area ("EEA") (i.e., EU Member States and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). Specifically, your personal data will be transferred to Japan and may be transferred to other countries where the Acquiror described in Sections 3.1 and 3.2 above is located.
    If a customer's personal data is transferred to a country outside of the EEA that is not recognized by the EU Commission as a country providing an appropriate level of personal data protection, the Company will ensure that such transfer is performed in compliance with applicable laws, either by taking protective measures required by law or by relying on the related legal effect mitigation.
    Such safeguards may include entering into standard contractual provisions approved by the EU Commission prior to such transfer in order to ensure the level of protection required for the personal data to be transferred.

Ⅳ: Period during which the Company store customer data

The Company hold their personal data only for the period necessary to meet their collection objectives and to comply with the legal obligations of the Company, after which their personal data is quickly eliminated from the Company’s systems. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if your personal data is disposed of in the context of a dispute, it will not be deleted until (i) amicable settlement is reached, (ii) a judgment of a final instance is rendered or enforced, or (iii) the claim becomes prescription.

Ⅶ: Updating this policy

This policy is subject to revision. Future changes or additions to the processing of the customer's personal data described in this policy will be notified to the customer by the appropriate means (depending on the means by which the Companynormally contacts the customer).

Social Media Policy

Nomura Real Estate Hotels Co., Ltd. (below, the Company) are defined as follows when the Company are permanently or temporarily opening and using an official our hotel’s Account (hereinafter referred to as "Official Account") at social media (such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, media formed by users disseminating information on the Internet) by theCompany. The matters set forth herein shall apply to all users of our hotel’s official accounts and accompanying services (the "Users").

Ⅰ Operational guidelines

  1. The Company will carefully disseminate information based on the understanding that information disseminated through social media is disclosed to an unspecified number of people and that once disseminated information cannot be completely removed.
  2. The Company will take a proactive stance and take responsible actions in response to comments made by users.
  3. The Company employees (including directors, employees in employment relationships, and temporary staff) will comply with various laws and regulations, the privacy policy established by the Company separately from this policy, and the internal regulations concerning the use of social media.
